The Spidem Company was founded in 1984 and has become renowned for the high quality and advanced technical features of its espresso machine lines. All Spidem machines are equipped with brewing systems which create espresso coffee with consistent "crema" and cappuccino comparable to professional machines. Spidem is the registered owner of over 30 patents relative to espresso machine technology, certain of which are licensed to well-known international corporations. All Spidem espresso machines carry a limited one (1) year parts and labor warranty limited to manufacturer's defect.

Spidem manufacturers two types of machines - the traditional semi-automatics and the superautomatics whereby coffee is made by the touch of a button.
