Quamar M80 Espresso Coffee Grinder
Overview:
The Quamar M80ETL is a design that has been proven by years of
use. It is based off the design and functionality of the Fiorenzato
T80, a proven workhorse (sorry, we do not stock parts for the Fiorenzato T80 and we do not know which are interchangeable). The M80 features the same quality internals,
with upgraded/modernized aesthetics. The M80 provides a renewed
look that follows modern aesthetic tendencies while having conservative
dimentions.
The burr carrier is improved, using a long throat to ensure hopper
stability and a VERY fine stepped adjustment. The M80ETL also features
ETL certification. At the introductory price of only $449, it's
hard to beat.
Specifications:
- Micro-step adjustment of grind settings.
- Measurements: 20.1" H x 6.3" W x 11.4" D (51cm H x 16cm W x 29cm D).
- Weight: 23.1 pounds (10.5 kilograms).
- Power: 330 Watts, 110-120 Volts, 50/60 Hertz.
- Bean hopper capacity: 1.2 kilograms.
- Doser capacity: 280 grams.
- Grinding blade diameter: 63mm, special stainless steel.
- Grinding blade speed: 1600rpm(60Hz).
- Body material: Aluminum.
- Color: Dull black.
- Instruction manual written in poor English (like other Italian manufacturers) is included.
Notes:
Please note as with all coffee grinders, it is very important
to only change grind settings on when the
unit is powered 'on' and the burrs are in motion. If you do not
do this, the burrs will 'gunk' up and require cleaning by you
every time this occurs. Changing the grind settings when the burrs
are not in motion will render the grinder to only produce very
coarse grinds or no grinds at all. If this result occurs, this
will be considered operator error for lack of following directions,
and will not be classified as a defective grinder - meaning this
is not covered under warranty.
- Quamar grinders are considered commercial
equipment for grinding coffee only and can not be returned once
used.
- Comparison to another espresso grinder.
