Bezzera BZ02S Tank Model
Espresso Machines
Overview:
Great for the home or office! The Bezzera BZ02S is designed to
be left "ON" all day! As the lowest priced heat exchange
machine with no coffee buying commitment, you can not go wrong!
A powerful pump (EAP5 made by ULKA) and swivel steam wand
make the Bezzera one of the few home machines that can brew
espresso and steam milk at the same time!
This machine has some of the same components as the Pasquini
Livia 90 espresso machine. In fact, we confirmed that the Pasquini
Livia 90 is made at the bezzera factory. The boiler, grouphead,
brain unit, and relay are identical. Although the Bezzera espresso
machines do not sport the beautiful stainless steel found on a
Pasquini Livia 90, the pricing on the Bezzera BZ02 espresso machines
does make it quite favorable to those customers looking to save
money.
Features:
- Automatic water-refill of boiler allows continuous
production of delicious espresso, cappuccino, café latte,
americano and much more!
- 15 Bar-rated three way solenoid valve relieves grouphead
pressure which allows for quick and easy removal of filter handle
immediately after extracting espresso
- Zero recovery time - continuously extract espresso,
after espresso, after espresso.....
- Large, 1.5 liter copper boiler (0.2 liter included for
heat exchanger) allows for continuous production WITHOUT any delay
or wait time to steam milk for cappuccino!!!
- REMOVABLE large one gallon (3.78 liter) water reservoir
supplies water to the boiler for steaming/frothing milk and to
the heat exchanger for making the espresso like the cafes!!!
- Water reservoir particle filter prevents particle contamination
and is hidden with a stainless steel top cover.
- True, commercial heat exchanger is pumped fresh water from
the water reservoir to the grouphead and filter holder! Water
in the boiler is not used to make espresso. End Result: better
tasting espresso coffee!!!
- Built-in expansion relief valve to allow excess pump water
pressure be relieved into the drip tray to avoid overextraction
of your espresso
- High 1200 wattage heating element gives you less than
a 12 minute (approx. 9 minutes depending upon voltage) warm-up
time
- Vacuum bleeder valve allows machine to be placed on a timer
- Computerized safety switch will turn the machine "OFF"
when the water level is low in the reservoir - this prevents heating
element burnout
- Additional sensor in boiler prevents electricity to heating
element unless heating element is submerged in water - this prevents
heating element burnout
- High limit thermal safety device located on boiler/heating element
flange prevents electricity to heating element once 115 d C is
reached - this prevents heating element burnout
- Quality framework completely powder-coated for anti-rust protection.
- Futuristic-designed body side panels made of ABS for thermal
protection, and upper and back panel styled with polished stainless
steel for a match in any kitchen or office!
- Removable stainless steel drip tray grate coupled with black
lower ABS plastic tray
- Separate built-in water arm (right side of machine) for hot
tea, cafe americano, and hot chocolate!
- Swivel steam arm (left side of machine) built with independent
steam valve and frothing aid
- Stationary hot water arm (right side of machine) built with
independent valve

Semi-Automatic Version
|
| As
shown in the machine above, the Semi-Automatic espresso
machine operator controls the amount of water that flows
through the coffee grind by pressing the "Coffee Brew"
switch on or off. The "Coffee Brew" Switch is
onthe right side of the top, front panel. The Semi-Automatic
feature is favored by those with espresso making experience
since it allows them a greater ease to experimentation.
