Carefully take the machine out of the box.

The water softener is located in the front cardboard and the machine. To reduce the chance of denting the front panel, pull out the softener and put it in the front of the machine. Also, rotate the wand to the front as shown in the 1st picture.

Place the machine back in the box.

Place an Instapak in the back corner of the machine.

Then place the cardboard on the opposite side of the Instapak.

Place the top cardboard piece. The opening should show the back corner cardboard piece.
