Allow machine to fully cool. Unplug electrical cord from outlet and shut off water supply if in direct plumb mode. Remove the top nut on the grouphead by placing a towel over it and using a crescent wrench . Then remove the lower mushroom from top nut with crescent wrenches. There is a small nut with a pinhole clogged. Remove and clear pinhole with a pin. Or, remove the small nut and allow to soak in descaling solution until the hole clears. Reassemble. Do not use pliers. Turn on water supply and plug electrical cord into appropriate outlet.
If this easy fix does not clear the problem, then it will have to be serviced.
