There is an o-ring on the ball joint.

If the leak is occurring at the pipe where it attaches to the fitting nut, the o-ring needs to be replaced.

The steam wand needs to be removed by loosening and removing the nut from right below the valve.

There is an o-ring between the valve and fitting nut.

Next, remove the wand’s steam tip.

Then if any, slide off the steam wand protector towards the point of where the steam tip was located.

Slide the bad o-ring through the nut, and put the new one back on.

Place all parts back on machine and test.

Make sure to now over-tighten the nut.
