  1. Empty the water tank.
  2. Unplug the machine from the electrical outlet.
  3. Make sure the machine is cold. Tilt forward.
  4. There are 3 screws on the bottom plate. Do not worry about any warranty stickers.
  5. Slide the bottom plate out. There is a red button that needs to be pushed in. Feel for a click.
  6. Re-assemble and test the machine to make sure it works ok.
