Saeco first began operation back in 1981 in Bologna, Italy. Their goal was to simplify the process of making espresso. For 4 years they studied each step: grinding, dosing, tamping, brewing, and even the disposing of the coffee grounds. Their goal was to streamline it. In 1985, after numerous prototypes and field testing, they came out with the world's first super-automatic espresso machine, the SuperAutomatica. We started bringing in Saeco back in 1998. Our first Saeco sale was the Magica de Luxe. As our company grew, our main focus shifted towards the sales & support of traditional espresso machines & coffee grinders. We still carry super-automatics, but with another company, Jura.
