The Growlerwerks company started back in 2015 by a small group of engineers. Their original focus was designing a way to keep craft beer fresh and carbonated for long periods of time. This resulted in the uKeg model. In 2019, they expanded to cold brew coffee and created the uKeg Nitro. We carried their cold brew coffee maker up until 2021 where we put our focus on espresso machines.

We learned later in 2024, the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, and restructured themselves under a new name, Perfectwerks.
