Aerobie came about in 1984 after Alan Adler was an engineering instructor at Stanford and an inventor for sporting goods. One of his best products was the pro flying ring, which made the Guinness Book of World Records for the longest throw!
By the year of 2004, Adler started to study the art of brewing a cup of coffee. Thus, he began designing a new ingenious tool to make incredible coffee. By the end of 2005, the Aerobie AeroPress coffee maker was born!
The company kept growing and growing in its global sales and business thanks to this victorious coffee maker! During the year of 2017, Adler ultimately decided to sell the Aerobie sport business to Swimways Corporation, which led to the new trademarked name as AeroPress, Inc.
