Valexia Duetto II PID Dual Boiler Espresso Machine with Wood Handles

The Valexia Duetto II by Gruppo Izzo, originally located in Naples, but now near Rome, is the newest dual boiler espresso machine at 1st-line, as of November 2019! Furthermore, this machine is excellent to use in a home kitchen, small office, or for light commercial use. Moreover, top-notch materials contribute to the espresso machine’s beautiful view on the outside with the use of advanced functions on the inside.

Additionally, the name “Duetto” comes into use due to the unit’s incredible dual boiler system, where one boiler produces the steam coming out and the other boiler produces temperature stable water for the espresso coffee coming out. Also, its phenomenal PID system controls the temperature of both boilers. Finally, you will enjoy its silent vertical positioned rotary pump, a quiet SSR Power Relay, and its switchable lever from water tank to direct plumb.

The E61 brass grouphead is incredible for its espresso-making capabilities! The small lever and portafilters offer a fantastic look in wood.

The Valexia is a beast! The Izzo drip tray gives off character of brute force! Thus, once you own the Izzo Valexia dual boiler espresso machine, you will know why!

Espresso Machine Warning:

  • ELECTRICAL WARNING: To avoid electrical damage to this espresso machine which is not considered a manufacturer's defect, please acquire and install a single-outlet surge suppressor rated at 1080 joules or higher. the lack of the recommended surge suppressor, the espresso machine can be damaged at the power switch, the electronics, the heating element, the pressurstat or the wiring inside.
  • WATER WARNING: To increase the useful life of and not damage your espresso machine, please use softened water. Softened water is water without calcium and without magnesium, but still has other minerals for espresso extraction. Do not use distilled water, purified water, nor reverse osmosis water as these types of water create oxidation with the metals and cause the same damaging effects as limescale.
  • DESCALING WARNING: We do not recommend descaling unless there is an issue with the espresso machine. The reason is that too much descaling can eat away at the metals and gaskets inside an espresso machine.

Sorry, machine is 20 amps only as the powerful 1400 watts on the steam boiler will be too close to the maximum 15 amp rating when the steam boiler powers on.

    4. Is this able to switch between 15 & 20 Amp modes like the Alex Duetto IV?

Sorry, it is not. Power goes to one boiler's heating element at a time. Both boilers will never be both powered at the same time. 20 amp is optimal for the Valexia Leva Duetto dual boiler espresso machine.
