Espresso Coffee Tamper Center

Espresso coffee tampers are an often overlooked tool when purchasing an espresso bar setup for the home, office, or commercial establishment. These essential tools of the trade aid in reaching espresso nirvana by allowing the operator to apply an even distributed tamp on the coffee grind with a single motion that ends with a twist. We have selected the finest tampers in the business with regards to functionaility on the espresso machines we market today.

Many customers ask if they should get a flat or convex base and if they should get a short or long piston handle. It is our opinion and experience that a perfect espresso extraction can be achieved with both a flat or convex base. As for the piston handle, the short versions are handled better with those who have smaller hands, and the tall version is best handled by those who have larger hands. If there are 2 or more operators using the tamper, it is best to size for the smallest handle first.
