Flat burr grinders consist of 2 identical ring-shaped burrs. They are usually paired with high-wattage motors. This results in fast production as well as a very consistent grind when compared to conical burr grinders. Some grinders like the Eureka Atom Specialty 75 use titanium burrs which are very long-lasting.
