Rancilio Classe 5 USB Electronic Commercial Espresso Machine

C-Lever Steam

Steam lever that is unique to Rancilio commercial machines. Requires very little turning (about 25° up or down) to activate steam. Turning the lever upwards, locks it in position so you can use both hands. Turning the lever downwards, allows you to vary the steam power. You can also program the machine to reverse these actions so downward will lock in position.

Hot Water

Not just a hot water spigot. You can program different water temperatures. Great if you are brewing different types of tea.

Easy Clean

Intelligent management of the brewing button provides fully automatic group cleaning. The LED light on the control panel indicates the need for routine maintenance. This function ensures an extraordinary brew quality and reduces daily cleaning times.

Grid system

To make cleaning and maintenance easier, Rancilio has equipped all its products with a revolutionary work surface: the support grids come in a scratchproof polymer and can be removed to allow ease of washing in a dishwasher. Thanks to its efficient liquid collection system, Grid System keeps the work surface clean and protects cups against unsightly marks left by drops of coffee.

Soft Touch

The soft-touch controls improve the ergonomics of the coffee machine, taking the strain out of the repetitive actions of pressing the start/stop buttons.

The Rancilio LAB research and development laboratory has designed HYDRO HUB, an innovative ergonomic system for the comprehensive and integrated management of the hydraulic circuit for coffee machines.   • ELECTRICAL WARNING: To avoid electrical damage to this espresso machine which is not considered a manufacturer's defect, please acquire and install a single-outlet surge suppressor rated at 1080 joules or higher. the lack of the recommended surge suppressor, the espresso machine can be damaged at the power switch, the electronics, the heating element, the pressurstat or the wiring inside.
  • WATER WARNING: To increase the useful life of and not damage your espresso machine, please use softened water. Softened water is water without calcium and without magnesium, but still has other minerals for espresso extraction. Do not use distilled water, purified water, nor reverse osmosis water as these types of water create oxidation with the metals and cause the same damaging effects as limescale.
  • DESCALING WARNING: We do not recommend descaling unless there is an issue with the espresso machine. The reason is that too much descaling can eat away at the metals and gaskets inside an espresso machine.
