Notes:

  1. Please note that the manufacturer has and will change the brand or wattage of a heating element without notice. For example, an original heating element with 1400 watts may be changed to 1200 watts or vice versa without notice from the manufacturer. This is considered and accepted as standard business practice by all manufacturers and will be accepted upon order.
  2. Please note that heating elements can ‘look’ used. We do receive them from the manufacturers with white powder or a green oxidation. This is how they are delivered to us.

I've had my single group Lusso for about 4 years at this point. It has worked well during that time. Today, I turned it on to start warming up, and the bottom "low water" light was illuminated (machine was correctly filled). I did a decent amount of reading, and I'm going to pull the contacts from the heating element and check resistance there; however, I'd love any advice you might have. I'm happy to order a heating element from you if that's what is wrong. I just want to be somewhat sure that I'm ordering what I really need to fix the issue. Any advice?

It could be a bad heating element, bad wiring, bad brain unit, or low water level sensor. We would suggest cleaning the low water level sensor.

      Sometimes, it is a guess.

If looking for a brain unit, you have to match what is on our web site to what is in your machine. Please note that we do not have all parts in stock and you may need to order direct from Ponte Vecchio and we do not take parts returns as customers sent their defective parts for refund in the past.
