I had purchased this several weeks ago and noticed that the grinds build up at the de-clumping screen each time I grind and thus isn't fully dropping down the funnel. Is that needed, would you recommend removing that de-clumping screen, or other advice to no have this build up?

Certain coffees may clump there, and it can be removed.

I am interested in purchasing your Mazzer Mini doser to doserless conversion kit. It appears that some parts in the kit are currently out of stock. Sorry, we do not have any ETA. The price can change as manufacturers are updating prices based on their increased costs. Unfortunately, we are not taking any back orders at current pricing.
I recently purchased the Mazzer Mini Doser to Doserless Conversion Kit. My Mazzer Mini grinder is an older model, and when I attempted to replace the portafilter holder, I found that the bolts had nuts in the back. I was able to retrieve the nuts, but I'm unable to use the screws to secure the new portafilter because I am unable to get inside the grinder to secure the nuts to the bolts.
Do you recommend a different, possibly self tapping screw? If so, what size?

Sorry, we do not know a good answer for this older model as it may be different than what we know about.
A You will need to unscrew the four feet plus large screw between front feet, to remove the base off the grinder which will give you access to the nuts inside the body.

For all customers so far, it has fit and no complaints. However, with any company, there can be odd ball configurations we are not aware about.
What is the difference between the two screens? S000RET01_AQQ, MAZ_340 and S000RET02_QQQ, MAZ_341
Do they both fit equally well any Mazzer Mini?

Most, but we can not guarantee all because manufacturers can change things without our knowledge - especially if other importers requested changes in design.
A Responding to the admin answer…I ordered and installed this prior to seeing the answer to my question. My Mini is 18 years old, which prompted my original question. The kit worked fine though. I did change the install up a bit. The screws provided for the back plate install were sheet metal screws, which weren’t ideal for the cast aluminum frame on my Mini. I drilled and tapped the mounting holes to 6-32 instead, and used stainless 6-32 round head screws.

This kit is only for the Mazzer Mini models. For a Super Jolly, you would need a different backplate, funnel, and fork. All 3 parts we currently do not have. We may bring these in and if so we will make a kit for this as well.
I would like to buy conversion kit without fork for the price listed (150$), but system is not letting me do that. Your system blocks transaction/ ordering because fork is out of stock. Can you sell available, in stock parts as a kit for 150$?

Sorry, the fork is needed as the current doser fork will not align with this funnel.
We currently have an order in place for more forks, but we don't have an ETA.
Please add yourself to the waiting list for the fork. You will get an email notification once we receive them.
I'm interested in doing this conversion but I notice the PF hook is out of stock. Is there any expectation of it coming in any time soon, with the pandemic and everything? If I order the kit now will you ship and bill the hook later?

Same Question I have the Mazzer Mini Man from around 2004. The finger guard is black plastic and is connected by the same screws that hold the doser to the grinder housing. It might fit but no guarantees unless someone else has tried it. Would you provide dimensions? the exact external diameter, the exact height and the height of the position of the screw holes for the housing and finger guard and the distance between the holes? Or provide the schematics? Or accept a return if it ultimately does not fit?

Thank you on the videos. Although we believe it should fit, we can never guarantee any retrofits. It is best to inspect your current version to make sure it is similar to the one in the video.
A Did you get it? Mine is slightly older with the push button and worked perfectly. I would use different screws for the back plate. The first screw snapped right off. I drilled it out & used more robust screws. Everything else fit perfectly.
