My questions was regarding the O ring size, what are the dimensions of the O ring from the tap rod? Is this something you can answer? Thanks.

Sorry, we are unable to answer as the manufacturer usually does not provide this information and we usually need to damage the oring when we take it off to measure - this defeats the purpose.

    4. The steam knob on my Lelit PL41TEM is spinning independently of this piece and therefore not turning on/off the water and steam flow. The rod is difficult to spin even with pliers after removing the knob. Wondering if replacing the part is the appropriate solution or if any other troubleshooting may work?

Most likely, the knob needs to be replaced. This rod or even the valve may be the culprits. It is difficult to determine without having the machine here. Try descaling through the wand to see if it helps with the stem rotation.

A Mike, were you able to solve this? I am having the same problem on my Lelit PL41PLUST Glenda. [email protected]
    6. Hello. I have a Lelit PL41TQE - PID machine that I purchased from you several years ago. I use the machine daily to pull espresso shots and steam milk with the steam wand. I've notice that much more water is dripping from the steam wand while the machine heats up. While pulling espresso shots water pushes out of the steam wand like I'm running the hot water function. Additionally, after steaming milk and closing the steam wand valve all the way, I can still hear some steam coming out of the steam wand. I saw on your website that you offered some ways to repair the issue with pictures. I descaled the machine and I ordered a new MC216-41 stem. After I replaced the steam wand stem with a new one, the leak still occurred through the steam wand at the same rate as before. I've read that the brass tap (MC214-41) can wear out and may need to be replaced. I saw this Tap Rod that's larger at the tip and was wondering if that's the solution to fix it in place of the MC216-41 stem to stop the leak, rather than a new tap. Please let me know what you suggest so I can resolve the issue and order the correct part(s). Thank you!

The steam tap rods are NOT interchangeable. The steam valve, in your case, probably had limescale build up and damaged the internal portion of the valve. Sorry, the valve will most likely need to be changed.
