Overview:
The La Pavoni 8-Cup Europiccola is good for low usage home use. Makes excellent espresso the good old fashion way with its elegant styling with manual piston operation.

- Built-in safety reset fuses to prevent overheating and prevent costly heating element repair.
- Nickel plated, non-corrosive, solid brass boiler.
- Brass piston inside grouphead.
- Internal pressurestat to monitor pressure for making the perfect espresso.

- Swivel steaming wand for frothing milk.
- Protective plastic covering over gauge glass.
- Boiler refill cap on top.
- Removable plastic drip tray and drip tray cover.

Espresso Machine Warning:
- ELECTRICAL WARNING: To avoid electrical damage to this espresso machine which is not considered a manufacturer's defect, please acquire and install a single-outlet surge suppressor rated at 1080 joules or higher. the lack of the recommended surge suppressor, the espresso machine can be damaged at the power switch, the electronics, the heating element, the pressurstat or the wiring inside.
- WATER WARNING: To increase the useful life of and not damage your espresso machine, please use softened water. Softened water is water without calcium and without magnesium, but still has other minerals for espresso extraction. Do not use distilled water, purified water, nor reverse osmosis water as these types of water create oxidation with the metals and cause the same damaging effects as limescale.
- DESCALING WARNING: We do not recommend descaling unless there is an issue with the espresso machine. The reason is that too much descaling can eat away at the metals and gaskets inside an espresso machine.

Sorry, there are no blind nor blank baskets as the lever machine can not be back flushed.

La Pavoni has confirmed all our of our current new models as of the date of this writing have the brass piston inside. They indicated that they only used the plastic piston for 2 years prior to 2010.
I have a Europiccola Anniversary Model from 2006, but the base is rusted. Is it possible to get a new base?

I was given for free a 1996 Pre-Millenium Europiccola machine. Was trying to make it work yesterday but unfortunately with no success. I have never used the lever machine, so possibly I am missing something. My impression was that I was losing pressure through the pressure relief valve; but the previous owner claims it is in a working condition. We have La Pavoni Napolitana (year 2002) and this machine is indestructible, so I believe that this may be the case with the Europiccola (especially it is an older model so parts may be better quality). Could I bring the machine so a technician have a quick look at it and assess whether it is in a working condition ? I would truly appreciate your help.
