Pulse Extraction Process (P.E.P.®)

The Pulse Extraction Process (P.E.P.®) is a new technology by JURA that optimizes the extraction time. When making a short espresso, the Jura D6 forces the hot water through the ground coffee at short intervals. This process allows the flavors of the coffee to fully develop. With eight different intensity levels, you can customize your coffee just the way you like it. For specialties such as cappuccino or latte, the innovative fine foam technology delivers fine milk foam that’s as light as air.

Intelligent Water System for automatic filter detection

CLEARYL water filters supply perfect water quality for the best possible flavor. They protect your coffee machine against limescale. They also help remove substances that could impair flavor and aroma (such as heavy metals or chlorine) from the water. Jura developed the Intelligent Water System (I.W.S.®) in order to get the most use of the filter and its capacity. The filter cartridge and coffee machine link wirelessly through RFID technology. The machine automatically detects the filter. Using the filter has never been easier or more reliable.

Simple operation

Thanks to the Rotary Switch on the Jura D6, you are just one touch of a button away from the perfect cup of coffee. Simply rotate and the display will cycle between the different beverages. Press the switch and the machine starts working. The display itself is plain text and very easy to read. You can also change the language of the display between 11 different languages. The machine is also easy to program and care for.

Height-adjustable coffee spout

The coffee spout on the Jura D6 can slide either up to 4.4″ or down to 2.6″. This allows you use a large array of cups, from small espresso cups to large coffee cups. This also help prevent coffee from splashing on the machine. Closing the distance from the spout to the cup also produces a perfect, velvety crema.

Fine foam frother

The fine foam technology creates unique milk foam quality as well as a fine, feather-light consistency. It’s the perfect way to give the finishing touch to your favorite beverages.
