All manual coffee grinders from HARIO use burrs made of ceramic. The ceramic burrs do not transfer heat and shave the coffee bean versus cracking the bean like blade grinders. This process provides a more consistent grind that can easily be adjusted and set for repeat use.

If you care not only about the coffee, but about the environment as well, HARIO coffee grinder will make a perfect  fit for you. Since 1972, the company is manufacturing their products in a factory without chimneys. HARIO uses 100% natural minerals to refine heatproof glass making it an environmentally friendly material.

Sorry, it will not work with all espresso machines. It will usually only work with espresso machines with pressurized portafilters or pressurized baskets that do not require a very fine grind.
