You can easily press the button on top of the canister to unlock and normalize the air pressure.

Twist the lid back and forth to remove air from the inside. There is a pump on the inside to prevent you from looking for a separate piece.

If the dot drop displays a ring, then the vacuum locks to stop oxidation and increase the coffee’s shelf life.
