Temperature: Unique 1400W boiler heater releases water only when it achieves ideal coffee brewing temperature (200° F – 205° F / 93° C – 96° C).

9/2/2011 - Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) has tested and awarded the Bonavita BV1800 and the BV1800TH as Certified Brewing Equipment. The SCAA has very high standards that must be met for coffee makers including the correct water temperature, contact time, and extraction rate.
