Hello, before I order this part, is there a way to determine whether my current thermoblock in my Dream Up V3 has gone bad? When I turn the machine on, it does not even reach 50C according to the front thermometer gauge before it stops heating. (I think that temperature reading is roughly accurate based on comparing it to touching a candy thermometer to the thermoblock.) If I pull a shot at the temp, it's terrible. If I turn the steam on, it does produce steam, but the temp doesn't seem to read nearly as high as it used to while steaming, and the steam doesn't seem as powerful. Turn off the steam and the temp drops all the way back down to 50C. I replaced the coffee thermostat but that didn't fix the issue. Using a multimeter, there is continuity across all three thermostats and across the ends of the heating coil that stick out of the block. Resistance across the coil (with the machine off) is around 15 Ohms. Any suggestions before I order a $100 part would be greatly appreciated. I'd be happy to order a new block if that will fix it! Thank you.

Sorry, based on the multi-meter results, we do not believe the issue is the thermoblock. We suggest descaling the unit. If the problem continues, we suggest having a professional evaluating the machine as it may be more than one component and it would only be a guess to diagnose remotely.

Sorry, the manufacturer does not provide measurements and we do not take measurements as the part is indicated per the diagrams on the respective Ascaso espresso machines.
