Overview:
Ventus! A truly amazing and superbly nautical-designed, direct-plumbed, lever espresso machine! How many adjectives or adevrbs was that? If you want a show piece, this is it! All stainless steel design from the elongated lower frame, to the wind sail, to the insulated boiler.
If you want the WOW or BLING factor for both design and espresso quality, this is the machine!
Keep in mind, since the Ventus is a quality, hand-crafted piece of equipment, there are only 25 produced per year! 1st-line has been exclusively selected to distribute this model in the USA!
Features:
- 304 stainless steel frame construction: Polished to a mirror finish.
- 316 stainless steel boiler: Cool to the touch.
- Spring-lever grouphead: Commercial grade.
- Removable drip tray: Made of stainless steel. Currently not plumbed.
- Steam wand and hot water wand: Both multi-directional. Joystick-lever controlled valves.
- Boiler pressure gauge: Measures steam pressure.
- Adjustable screw on the grouphead neck: Allows you to regulate +/- the water stream coming from the boiler and going to the grouphead during pre-infusion
- Removable nut under the boiler: For draining the water out of the boiler.
- Espresso cup holding tray: Please note that since the boiler is insulated, the cups will need to be pre-heated with hot water from the hot water wand
- Standard electrical plug: Plugs into socket on the bottom of the machine.
- Accessories included: Single spout portafilter, double spout portafilter, 1-cup filter basket, 2-cup filter basket, bottomless portafilter with basket, 2 steam tips (3 hole, 4 whole), 2 stainless steel tampers, instruction manual.

Espresso Machine Warning:
- ELECTRICAL WARNING: To avoid electrical damage to this espresso machine which is not considered a manufacturer's defect, please acquire and install a single-outlet surge suppressor rated at 1080 joules or higher. the lack of the recommended surge suppressor, the espresso machine can be damaged at the power switch, the electronics, the heating element, the pressurstat or the wiring inside.
- WATER WARNING: To increase the useful life of and not damage your espresso machine, please use softened water. Softened water is water without calcium and without magnesium, but still has other minerals for espresso extraction. Do not use distilled water, purified water, nor reverse osmosis water as these types of water create oxidation with the metals and cause the same damaging effects as limescale.
- DESCALING WARNING: We do not recommend descaling unless there is an issue with the espresso machine. The reason is that too much descaling can eat away at the metals and gaskets inside an espresso machine.
- Packaging: Our biggest challenge when receiving this machine was taking apart the crate and unbolting the machine from the floor of the crate. It was very frustrating when receiving such a gorgeous espresso machine. However, it was well worth the packaging to avoid damage!
- Shipping: This product cannot be shipped overnight nor expressed shipped as this unit ships on a pallet only.
- Electrical connection: This machine should be installed on a dedicated 20 amp electrical circuit.
- Water connection: This model is only able to get water from a direct water line. There is no water tank / reservoir.
