Overview:
Now in stock and IMPROVED with a higher temperature steaming thermostat which will provide greater steaming power.
The Isomac Venus espresso/cappuccino machine fills the void between lower cost espresso machines and the higher priced professional grade machines. This means it is perfect for home and small office use. While there are a few direct competitors priced a little lower than the Venus, this machine stands out because of it slightly larger size and top to bottom stainless steel construction. The Venus is a beautiful machine to say the least. The polished housing, chrome cup railing on top, and the heavy-duty switches and indicator lights make the fancy professional grade machines look over their shoulder. But Isomac did not skimp on the inside of the machine either. A look under the hood shows a large brass boiler, brass fittings, stainless steel mesh protecting the water tubing, and top grade wiring and electrical fittings.
Features:
The Venus features four heavy-duty, simple to use toggle switches with integrated indicator lights. The power switch is on the upper right far corner of the control panel. The three switches on the left side of the control panel: control the brewing, hot water, and steaming functions of the machine. Front-mounted pressure gauge monitors brewing pressures to ensure you are getting the best espresso shot at 8-9 bar. 2-hole round steaming tip produces an abundance of steam for perfect cappuccinos and lattes. 58mm heavy-duty portafilter and filter baskets. Well-designed grouphead influenced by Isomac's commercial line of espresso machines. Two thermostats to closely regulate operating temperatures. Thermal fuse provides burnout protection if the boiler is operated dry or runs out of water. Three way solenoid valve located on the grouphead to allows the filter handle to be removed immediately after the espresso extraction. Instantly releases built up pressure in the portafilter. Heated cup-stacking surface allows for preheated cups. Removable stainless steel drip & cup tray. Removable water reservoir from top for easy refilling or easy cleaning. Instant hot water on demand for tea, Americanos, hot chocolate, or other hot beverages. Self-priming, powerful pump provides more than enough pressure for excellent espresso topped with thick crema. Polished stainless-steel body and frame for added durability. Heavy Duty Pump - The Venus uses a 52-watt vibratory pump that provides the exact pressures needed to deliver perfect espresso. The lines from the pump, to the boiler, and from the boiler to the grouphead are all commercial grade items, with a big, beefy piece of cast brass helping to complete the trip. Other machines may feel the need to advertise their BAR rating; the Venus doesn't have to - it's a given the machine has the power to spare. Expansion relief-valve allows excess pump pressure to be redirected to the water reservoir Three (3) thermostats - coffee, steam, and safety. Stainless-steel braided hose from pump to boiler for added durability - other machines may only have teflon hoses that are susceptible to cracking over time. Swivel-based steam wand with two-hole, chrome-plated steam tip. Specifications:

Click here for printable manual. This model is built for a home use environment and will last as long as instructions are followed and the machine is not left for more than 2 hours. If you are to use the machine in an office environment, turn off the machine after use. When the machine is left on all day or the steam is left on, the heating element will run the risk of burning out. Proper descaling and cleaning of the machine's internals and the use of an optional water softener will increase the durable life of the Isomac Venus. Pressure gauge - The pressure gauge should only be read when extracting espresso. The reading is meaningless at all other times. We have also found that a pressure gauge reading of 11-12 bar during the extraction results in a better cup profile on this machine. Frequently Asked Questions: Q: I've got an Isomac Venus that I purchased from you at the beginning of the year. It has developed a drippy frothing wand. Whenever the machine is on, the steam wand will drip constantly. I do have the valve closed all the way. Any ideas for fixing it, and is it covered? A: We suggest you descale your machine through the steam wand AND the grouphead. This is the first protocol in resolving a steam wand leak. If your machine is still experiencing a leak you probably need a new steam valve and o-rings. Theses are the parts you will need: Steam Valve , Shaft for Steam Valve , O-Ring for Steam Valve .
