The Ceado E37S espresso coffee grinder is a little on the huge side for the home, but its worth its weight in gold when it comes to quality in the cup! This commercial grade espresso coffee grinder makes it happen in cafes, shoppes, and restaurants worldwide.

Grinding adjustment:

  • Stepless – Quick set revolution which allows you really fine tune your grind. Adjustment knob is located underneath the hopper. The rubber hopper guard is numbered so you can remember your current grind setting easier. Turn left for a coarser grind and right for a finer grind.
  • Steady lock grinding system – This system helps keep your grind setting locked to the current position and also helps ensure that it will not change over time.

Grinding burrs:

  • Flat burrs – Very large size at 83 mm. The larger the size, the more of a grinding surface, resulting in faster production.
  • High rpm – Faster spinning rate at 1600 rpm. The higher the speed, the faster the production, which can increase efficiency and reduce wait times.
  • Easy access – Remove the bean hopper. There are 3 screws holding the top burr carrier which you can remove with a Philips head screwdriver. This will give you access to the burrs and the grinding chamber. The burrs themselves are held in with flat head screws.

Electronic controls:

  • Multiple dosing options – There are 3 dosing options. Single dose, double dose, and manual dose.
  • Time based grinding – You can adjust the the time for each automatic dose up to 640 seconds max. Adjustments can be made by 0.05 second increments.
  • Power save mode – You can set the LCD display to dim after a certain time (from 1 minute to 999 minutes).
  • Burr replacement – You can set an alert for when your grinding burrs needs replacement (up to 200,000 doses or can turn off at 0 setting). Recommended setting is at 50,000.
  • BAR message – Customize your LCD display with a short message (ex. the current blend of beans in the hopper).
  • Brightness option – The brightness of the LCD display can be adjusted up or down to your comfort level.
  • Dosing count – This helps keep track of usage. Displays the total count (from 1st use), partial count (from last reset), and missing count (amount remaining until burr replacement alert).
  • Language option – A total of 8 languages available: Italian, English, German, French, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish.
  • Password protection – You can protect your settings by programming a password to your grinder.

Bean hopper:

  • Low profile – While previous versions of the E37S came with a very tall hopper, the new V2 version now comes with a short hopper which will help it fit under most kitchen cabinets.
  • Rubber neck guard – Reduces the risk of your bean hopper cracking when installing or removing it.
  • Stopper – Simply push the slider located at the bottom of the hopper to close the opening. This allows you to remove the hopper and easily switch out the beans. However, be sure to purge the remaining coffee beans in the grinder after closing the slider.

Portafilter fork:

  • Ease of use – Allows your portafilter to sit while grinding. There is no need to hold it with your hand. The metal lip that holds the portafilter is adjustable which helps accommodate almost any portafilter. The clearance from the fork to the funnel is approximately 2.625″.
  • Rubber fork – A rubber guard fits to the fork which helps your portafilter sit easier.

Accessories included:

  • Grinds catch tray – Easy to install or remove.
  • Instruction manual – Written in 5 languages: Italian, English, French, German, Spanish. Instructions also work for the E92 model.

  1. When changing grind settings: As with all coffee grinders, it is very important to only change grind settings on Ceado espresso coffee grinders when the unit is powered 'on' and the burrs are in motion. If you do not do this, the burrs will 'gunk' up and require cleaning by you every time this occurs. Changing the grind settings when the burrs are not in motion will render the grinder to only produce very coarse grinds or no grinds at all. If this result occurs, this will be considered operator error for lack of following directions, and not be classified as a defective grinder. Ceado grinders are considered commercial equipment for grinding coffee only and can not be returned once used.
  2. Static issues: There are static issues with all grinders, even the highest quality models. We firmly believe that the static comes from the coffee beans. If you are having static problems with your coffee grinder, trying using a different blend of beans.
  3. Upon receving: We have confirmed that Ceado tests EVERY espresso coffee grinder with coffee beans before it leaves their facility, but they are not always able to get every trace of coffee out of the grinders after testing. As a result, you may find coffee beans or grinds inside your grinder, or there may be grinds in the packaging when you unwrap it.
  4. Electrical cord: Please note that the electrical cord is placed between the packaging (foam or cardboard) and the underside body of the grinder. During shipping, it is normal for a bend or insignificant blemish/slice to damage the cord.
  5. Replacing burrs: When replacing Ceado grinding burrs, NEVER use a flathead screwdriver and hammer to wedge under the burrs for removal. This could badly damage your machine.
  6. Instruction manual: The instruction manual mentions a "paintbrush" is included, but no brushes are included.
  7. Updated versions with metal: (Ceado implemented them in April, 2015); The cutoff is marked by the first letter on the serial number: it’s an alphanumerical code (three letters + six figures, i.e. ABC123456). The serial numbers beginning with "C" and on have the SCC system with metal flap (i.e. CIE123456 )
