Rechargeable Water Softener

Overview:

This is an ABSOLUTE must for every commercial espresso machine. Although you may have soft water in your locale, it is still a good idea to install a water softener for even the slightest of calcium/lime deposits that can accumalate in your commercial espresso machine.

Our water softener is the best in the industry because,

    1) it is rechargeable and the unit does not need a filter cartridge replacement
    2) recharging with salt, which can be picked up at a local hardware or plumbing supply house for a few dollars, is cheaper than replacing other filter-type water softeners.

Specifications:

  • Capacity: 8 liters
  • Working Pressure: Minimum One (1) Bar and Maximum Eight (8) Bar
  • Water Temperature Requirements: Minimum Four (4) Degrees C and Maximum Fifteen (15) Degrees C
  • Flow Rate: 1,000 Liters per Hour
  • Regeneration Salt Capacity: One (1) Kilogram or 2.2 Pounds
  • Please note that water softeners are not returnable under our return policy
  • Measurements: 15" H x 8" W x 10" depth including front valved

Notes:

  • Please be aware, most espresso machine manufacturers will void their limited warranties if an espresso machine is not installed with a water softener and recharged accordingly.
  • Requirements: 3/8F thread, additional 7" of height clearance to remove top cover and add salt for recharge, and additional 4" froth width clearance to attach inbound and outbound water lines.
  • Vinyl hose included with water softener.
  • Stainless Steel braided hose not ncluded with water softener, but is available. The price is $19.95 plus shipping. The stainless steel braided hose from the machine connects to one end, and you can conect any tubing 3/8" NPT cross threaded to the other valve after you apply teflon tape on it.
  • Softener must be charged before first use
  • In tank water softener must be inspected for damage and recharged prior to use
