Designed by BMW DesignworksUSA, the new Talea line of super automatic
espresso coffee machines features Saeco’s latest innovations
including a ceramic grinder, SBS Saeco Brewing System and Touch
Lift technology. These machines also introduce the new Milk Island,
an automatic milk frothing device that attaches to the base of
the machine to create delicious cappuccinos and lattes with ease.
Like all Saeco machines, the Talea line is fully programmable
to ensure you brew the perfect gourmet coffee with the push of
a button. The modern form and innovative function has earned the
Talea machines the prestigious “red dot” award for
design excellence.

- SBS - Saeco Brewing System - One twist. Infinite
types of coffee. An absolutely revolutionary innovation. Saeco's
new patented international exclusive: SBS (Saeco Brewing System)
is the avant-garde technology which has changed the world of coffee
machines. This ingenious system allows you to make an infinite
variety of coffee beverages from just one fully automatic machine
and at the mere twist of a knob. Whether it is an intense Italian
ristretto (turn the knob to the right) or an American-style long
coffee (turn the knob to the left) SBS satisfies all tastes, giving
a full flavour and a truly unique creamy layer. In addition, the
coffee dose in the extraction chamber is fully manipulated, thanks
to the pressure, which remains constant throughout the extraction
cycle. Through this process, all of the aroma is concentrated
in the cup, offering you a superb crema finish and a truly rich
flavour.
- Rapid Steam® - Rapid Steam® technology
reduces the normal waiting time between coffee brewing and steam
output to just a few seconds, so you can froth milk to make cappuccinos,
lattes, and macchiato coffee at the simple turn of the steam knob.
- Touch Screen Controls - The black and white
touch screen is the new exclusive technology used in Saeco coffee
machines. Thanks to its graphic display and icons, you can prepare
your favorite coffee beverages with little effort and in just
a few minutes. It comes with Sensitive Touch technology, which
not only gives the machine its up-to-date look, but also makes
it easier to use, thanks to its special icons giving clear, instant
details of each function.
- Adjustable Built-In Ceramic Grinder - For
perfect-tasting coffee every time. The ceramic grinder is Saeco's
most recent innovation, available in all new models of the Saeco
range of automatic coffee machines. After careful research, Saeco
finally chose this material to put an end to grinding with metal
components. Ceramic is inert, and thus ensures the best results
without altering the flavour of the coffee. Moreover, it is perfectly
safe to use. The new ceramic grinder also provides a more consistent
grind, allowing perfect dosing and blending, and giving you more
control over the density and body of your coffee. And that's not
all - the amount of coffee residue left in the cup is substantially
reduced. Long-lasting, minimum noise! Thanks to its sturdy build,
the ceramic coffee grinder will quietly grind to the same consistency
and high standards for a longer period of time.
- Touch Lift Technology - The drip tray can
be easily raised or lowered manually or electrically with a simple
touch, allowing for different cup sizes. Espresso cups or glasses
can easily be accommodated.
- Pannarello Frothing Device - The Pannarello
frothing device dispenses steam in three different directions
and makes it easy to froth milk for cappuccinos and lattes. It
also dispenses hot water for making hot drinks and soups, and
is completely removable for easy cleaning.
- Milk Island Capable (optional) - The Milk
Island is a unique Saeco development for all Talea models. In
fact, it is the key function for all milk frothing connoisseurs.
Whether you prefer espresso macchiato, cappuccino, latte macchiato
or any other speciality, the preparation of creamy foam takes
just a matter of seconds. The Milk Island is available in glass
with a total capacity of 0.4 litres.
- Aqua Prima Water Filter - The Aqua
Prima water filter was developed to remove impuritiesfrom
your water that alter the taste of your coffee. The AquaPrima
water filter’s purpose is to improve the taste of yourcoffee
while protecting your machine from limescale damage.
- Saeco OptiDose - Adjustable 7-10.5 gram doser,
regulates the amount of beans to grind per serving.
- Saeco Aroma System - Programmable (on/off/long)
pre-brewing cycle injects hot water into ground coffee to maximize
flavor extraction.
Easy Clean System - Easily removable brew group
for chemical-free cleaning.
- Cup Warming Surface - Controlled cup warming
