2 Year Warranty
Description and Exclusions
ONLY Effective for purchases made after 7/21/10.
We (1st-line Equipment) will be extending the warranty of the
Silvia and Rocky machines. The warranty will be extended from
twelve (12) to twenty-four (24) months. This policy does not cover
defects caused by user error or negligence, including, but not
limited to not reading the owner's manual or instructions included
with the purchased item. Warranty is non-transferable. All warranty
repairs must be preformed by 1st-line Equipment, at 1st-line's
repair facility.
After the first year (During months 13-24)
Customer is responsible for shipping charges to/from repair facility.
Customer is also responsible for labor costs to install/replace
parts.
Exclusions to Extended limited warranty applicable to specific
products as noted with an extended warranty. The following exclusions
apply to the product during extended warranty period:
1. Purchases prior to July 21, 2010 (these purchases outside
of this time frame have only a twelve (12) month warranty)
2. Customers invoice which does not state " Limited 24 month
warranty" for the appropriate line item on the original distributor
invoice,
3. Expendable items and items whose damage occurs as a result
of failure to follow instructions that come with the product,
4. Problems related to water damage, poor water quality, and scaling,
5. Products for which the applicable serial number has been removed
or altered,
6. Any product that has been damaged or rendered defective as
a result of accident, abuse, misuse, lack of reasonable and necessary
maintenance/cleaning, neglect, faulty installation, mishandling,
damage during shipment, line power surge or any external causes,
7. Operation of product outside the parameters stated in the user
documentation that shipped with product,
8. Usage of parts not manufactured by original manufacturer,
9. Modification or service by anyone other than our authorized
distributor or an authorized warranty provider,
10. Any acts of God, such as lightening, flood, or fire,
11. The cost of installations or routine maintenance items, such
as gaskets, o-rings, grinding burrs, and other normal wear and
tear items,
12. Usage of product in a commercial
environment,
13. Extended warranty period is not transferable,
14. Shipping costs to ship product back and forth to authorized
warranty center provided,
15. On-site labor or labor at a facility other than 1st-line Equipment
16. Expedited shipping cost of parts to customer for self-repair
17. Expediting repair in our facility (+1hr labor)
