A simple, inexpensive improvement, but one that we requested directly from Rancilio. Before our request, there were a number of machines (grinders and espresso machines from Rancilio) with the 90 degree angle 110 volt plug. This made it quite difficult when there is only a vertical outlet available for both the espresso machine and grinder. Compared to most other machines, the electrical cord is quite thick.
