Isomac Maverick Espresso Machine

Overview:

A super version of the standard Giada, including a fold-in manometer and a holder in stainless steel. You get your steam quickly and the steam spout holds a high pressure. Left-over espresso and other waste ends up where it is supposed to be, in a drip tray made of stainless steel. There is also a manometer for the pressure of the boiler, a large cup heater and a small but terrific detail for design lovers - classic pin breakers.

Features:

  • Polished stainless-steel body and frame construction for added durability.
  • Brass grouphead and 5-ounce brass boiler for added temperature stability.
  • Expansion relief valve allows excess pump pressure to be redirected to the water reservoir.
  • Three solid toggle switches for power, coffee and steam.
  • High-powered 52-watt Ulka pump (diaphragm).
  • Two (2) thermostats - one for coffee and one for steam.
  • Safety thermostat cuts off power supply if boiler gets too hot.
  • Swivel-based steam wand with two hole steam tip.
  • Pressure gauge to monitor pump pressure and boiler pressure.
  • Chrome-plated brass filter handle sized at 57mm.
  • Three (3) liter water reservoir removable from top for refilling or easy cleaning.
  • Stainless-steel passive cup warmer.
  • Accessories: One coffee scoop, 1-cup non-pressurized filter basket, 2-cup non-pressurized filter basket, and 57 mm filter handle, plastic tamper.

Specifications:

  • Measurements: 12.75" H x 9" W x 11.5" D(12" including space for cord in the back).
  • Power: 900 Watts, 110-120 Volts 60 Hz.
  • Weight: 19 pounds.
  • Made in Italy.
  • One year parts and labor warranty limited to manufacturer's defect handled by 1st-line Equipment, LLC.

Notes:

  1. Pressure gauge - The pressure gauge should only be read when extracting espresso. The reading is meaningless at all other times. We have also found that a pressure gauge reading of 11-12 bar during the extraction results in a better cup profile on this machine.
