Created in 1947, Elektra does charm the old world with their elegant and very well built home model espresso machines. Not only do their machines catch the eye, they also are built to perform well! Whenever one of our customers see one of the following Elektra espresso machines in our shop, they tend to draw very close to the machine - just like it was their own. Not only do you purchase quality hand craftsmanship, we want you to enjoy "Elektra" love at first sight!

Warranty Note: Please note that it is very important to use 'softened water' in these machines, as well as all espresso machines. Hard water will cause these machines to malfunction, and Elektra will not cover the warranty due to hard water. In addition, it is extremely important to run the a leva and Semiautomatica machines with water at least 25% full in the sight glass. Running these models with a water level lower than this can cause heating element damage which will not be covered under warranty as this is not a manufacturer's defect. If you return the unit with a damaged heating element, you will be charged for the repair, and the repair charge will be deducted from the credit.

The Elektra espresso machines with a chrome, chome and brass, or copper and brass finishes have a polished clear coat finish. Due to this clear coat finish, we do not recommend any type of polishes or cleaners.

Espresso Machines

microcasa a leva series - family coffee machines - these machines require a good amount of force to pull the lever down against the spring. We have not measured the amount, but this machine is not for weaklings. On the flip side, with the proper grind of espresso, this mahcine can produce a very nice flavor profile in the espresso (subjective opinion).

Elektra microcasa semiautomatica series - semi-commercial family coffee machines - these machines have a heat exchanger whereby there isno wait time to go from espresso mode to steam mode or vice versa without waiting. Also, the water used for the espresso extraction comes directly from the water reservoir on top. Only steam removal would lower the water in the boiler and int he sight glass.
