ECM Giotto Boiler Gauge
ECM Giotto Espresso Machines

The boiler gauge on the ECM Giotto Classic will show when the machine is in the rerady state to make espresso. The gauge represents pressure in the boiler, not the temperature. It is normal for this gauge to fluctuate as the boiler looses pressure due to temperature loss and then the heating element is engaged by the internal pressure regulator to achieve the most suitable pressure in the boiler. Please note the gauge looks different on the Giotto Premium.
