Overview:

The Epoca is unique, ground-breaking, and meets the most advanced requirements. It combines electronics with traditional hardware in a user-friendly machine. A molded ABS body makes the Epoca scratch-proof and rust-proof. The Epoca reflects the seamless marriage of design and technology.

The Epoca E version incorporates hardware that allows results of excellent quality to be obtained in operating the mechanical system and in the preparation of an impeccable espresso.

Features:

• GRID SYSTEM - To make cleaning and maintenance easier, Rancilio has equipped all its products with a revolutionary work surface. Support grids come in a scratchproof polymer, with an effi cient liquid collection system that keeps the work surface clean and protects cups against unsightly marks left by drops of coffee. The grids can be removed for washing in a dishwasher. Rancilio quality also means attention to details.
• ABM.07 (Advanced boiler management) - The ABM07 function allows electronic control of the boiler and water system. A specifically designed software system improves the performance of the machine by switching on the heating element when simultaneously brewing espresso, dispensing water and steaming milk.
  The machine will stabilize temperature, anticipating usage. The new version features a control that immediately and eff ectively senses pressure fl uctuation. For locations with low power availability, the electronics can be adjusted to reduce power absorption to 2/3 of normal value.
• C-LEVER (Rancilio Patent) - The new steam valve with a special control knob and ergonomic design is complete with open-stay and open-close functions. The valve has a very short travel distance, and is operated by rotating it just 25°. Turning it upwards, it opens and remains in this position. Turned downwards, it automatically closes when released. Rapidity, precision and ergonomics: maximum user comfort for daily tasks.
• COLORS - The exterior components have new colors and fi nishes. Red and grey are enhanced by a metallic eff ect that gives the Epoca a shiny and modern appearance. Polished steel embellishes the various versions, showing the softness of the stylistic forms.

• POD adaptable - All groups are designed to accept a special Adapter Kit for pods. The groups have a removable device which allows for the Rancilio Pod Kit to be fitted.
• Boiler Safety Valve with Water Overflow Tray - A Pressure Relief Valve Catch Tray has been added in the event the boiler over-pressurizes. This reduces the chance of excess moisture coming in contact with the electrical components.
• Portafilter Update - The new, sleek style of the Rancilio portafilters are designed with a slight downward angle for barista comfort. The prominent Double-R of the Rancilio logo is recessed and can easily be used as a promotional tool by placing a co-branded product logo on it.
