  Depending on burr configuration, the wattage consumption varies from 350W to 700W. (350 for flat, 700 for conical)
  63mm flats revolve at 1400RPM, 83mm flats at 900rpm, 71mm conicals at 350rpm.

  Automatic grinding function works as followed: The side power switch starts the grinding. Once the doser has filled, a microswitch is tripped and stops the grinding. When you dose enough to deactivate the switch the grinder starts again, until the doser is filled.

Frequent Customer Questions:

1. Will you be able to distribute parts on these grinders? (such as spare grinding burrs)
A: Yes, we are currently awaiting our first shipment of burrs as of 4/20/10. Other common parts are currently in stock, such as switches, etc.

2. Do you reccomend using a smaller hopper if I am going to put only a small amount of coffee(around 1lb) in it?
If it is just a clearance issue, I can bare with the big hopper.
A: Either hopper will hold the single pound of beans. The only reason to upgrade/swap to the smaller hopper is for asthetics and height restrictions.


3. Am I right that the automatic grinding function works pretty much the same as an on/off switch manual grinder if I am using up the grind per shot?
A: If you are grinding on demand, the automatic function will not be used. The on/off switch will be your main control over the power of the machine.

Differences between Conico and Flat burr versions:

Flatt Burr (63 and 83) Stepped adjustment.

Conico (72mm conical burr) Stepless adjustment, featuring a a springloaded, floating system similar to Mazzer. Please note, the ledge in this photo that is retaining beans is 99% eliminated when a hopper is inserted. (see here)

1. Please note that there are static issues with all grinders, even the highest quality models. We firmly believe that the static comes from the coffee beans. If you are having static problems with your coffee grinder, trying using a different blend of beans. 2. ETL LISTED! UL AND NSF 8 APPROVED.
